Why would this bother me? Why work for someone who can't spell their own address. (Mary Esther)

SAFETY RECALL
CFM U.S. Corporation

"The Grill Care Company" and "NOM" are written on a label on the lighter, but the label does not have
the following warnings in English concerning proper use of the lighter and the risks of fire or explosion from improper use.
DANGER: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE.
Contains flammable gas under pressure. Do not use near sparks or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container.
Do not store near any ignition source or at temperatures above 120ºF (49ºC). KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
If you have one of these lighters, stop using it until you obtain a free stick-on safety label for the lighter. Contact
CFM U.S. Corporation at:
1-866-333-4833
9am to 5pm ET Monday through Friday
In cooperation with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
Why does this bother me? There is nothing wrong with the lighter, it simply doesn't have a warning label in English. What
does this label warn you about? "Do not use near sparks or open flame" Lighters create both sparks and open flames!!!
Can you not store it next to itself? Perhaps you cannot store it next to another lighter. "Do not store near any ignition
source..." Isn't a lighter an ignition source? Worst of all, you would have to be smart enough to find out about
the recall, contact the company, and have them send you a label, all to tell you that lighters start fires!!!
